Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups filtered water
  • 1 green tea bag
  • 1 medium lemon
  • 1/2 medium cucumber
  • 1- inch piece fresh ginger root
  • 8 –10 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tbsp raw honey optional
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar optional
  • Ice cubes optional

Instructions
 

  • Bring 1 cup of water to a boil, remove from heat, add the green tea bag, and steep for 3–5 minutes. Remove the tea bag and allow the tea to cool.
  • Wash and prepare the fresh ingredients: juice the lemon, slice the cucumber, peel and slice the ginger, and crush the mint leaves.
  • In a glass pitcher, combine the cooled green tea, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar (if using), cucumber slices, ginger slices, and mint leaves.
  • Add the remaining cup of cold filtered water and honey if desired. Stir well.
  • Refrigerate for 1–2 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to infuse.
  • Serve chilled, either strained or with the cucumber and ginger pieces, over ice if desired.
